Managing Director and Chairman of the Company, aged 58 years,carries a rich industrial experience spanning nearly 30 years wherein he has held various instrumental positions in Ispat Industries Limited, where he was associated as Executive Director for more than a decade. In his long association with Ispat Industries Limited, he has been responsible for all operations and functions of the company that included the commercial functions, plant operations, projects, sales & marketing and all other functions. He is well known in the steel industry for his sharp commercial acumen, analysis and reading of the steel market and initiating reforming measures for the steel industry in particular that has led to several new policies and measures being introduced at the Government level for steel industry. He has been a member of various policy guiding bodies and associations such as CII, ASSOCHAM, FICCI, CORSMA, ISA. He has joined the Company from May 1, 2012 and appointed as Managing effective from March 1, 2013
